The completely transparent contemporary décor of the Bar Boeuf & Co. and the panoramic view over the bay of Monaco add to the pleasure of reserving a table in this unique fine food restaurant. Alain Ducasse brings together a very original combination based on the 'bar' [sea bass] (called 'loup' in the Mediterranean) and beef, offering an amazing melting pot of tastes in the menu and cellar.

Alain Ducasse proposes a slightly off-beat approach to his favorite cuisine with the talented complicity of his “chef de cuisine”, Massimo Pasquarelli.
From the bounty of the sea, discover his Sea-bass “à la Plancha” garnished with young carrots in a “jus”, spiked with ginger and the pulp of locally-grown lemons. Back on dry land, savor lamb from the Alpilles with green stuffing, creamy polenta and a “jus” with condiments combining mint and aubergine. With a certain humor, desserts also take inspiration from the theme of Mediterranean colors with, for example, Belon figs brimming with sunshine in a fresh “confiture”, whipped cream with lavender honey and waffles.
Wine can be sipped either at the bar with its “little tulip” stools in white leather, designed by Pierre Paulin in 1965 but still up-to-the-minute, or at table, comfortably seated in a “Pénélope” chair, a re-edition of a Charles Pollock design.
bb&co thus enters the 2009 season with lots of spicy new features, but always with the light and subtle cuisine which has made it one of the summer’s most enticing addresses.
