The Casinos de MONTE-CARLO & ROLEX are delighted to announce that Sir Elton John will perform five exceptional concerts for the Monegasque public during the 2010 Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival.
A legend among the stars of the pop-rock galaxy, a singer-songwriter with a fabulous career, the British superstar has made his mark on the history of music during the last four decades with myriad albums and singles, countless awards and record-breaking sales.
Now 60 years old, and more energetic than ever, he will electrify the audience in the Salle des Étoiles with the complicity of his old friend Ray Cooper. A cult musician who has accompanied the greatest performers, Ray Cooper went on two now-legendary tours with Sir Elton John, in the 1970s and again in the 1990s, during which his energy and his intuitive accompaniment conquered the star’s fans.
